Cydney McGee is a Nashville-based choreographer, performer, and dance educator represented by FreshTalent Group. With more than 15 years of choreography and teaching experience, she is known for creating dynamic, musical work that blends strong technical foundations with commercial versatility, storytelling, and authentic movement.
Her professional choreography credits include Seth Power's "Get Up" music video and a Mardi Gras stage production for Zeus Production. She also choreographs and stages the annual P3 Talent finale, bringing together more than 150 dancers in a large-scale production. Her award-winning competition choreography spans contemporary, jazz, hip hop, lyrical, tap, and musical theatre, earning recognition for its creativity, musicality, and ability to highlight the individual strengths of each dancer. Cydney has created work for soloists, dance teams, studios, and large ensembles across the country, with many of her students continuing into professional careers in commercials, music videos, cruise ship productions, and live entertainment.
Cydney's perspective as a choreographer is informed by an extensive career as a professional dancer. Her performance credits include Netflix's Tall Girl 2, TNT's CLAWS, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Murder in the First, Norwegian Cruise Line Entertainment, and the Genesis Halftime Show with Lil Wayne. She toured throughout the United States and Europe with In This Moment, portrayed Annie in Chicago, and performed in music videos for artists including In This Moment, Daya, Harriet, and Seth Power. Her commercial work includes a national campaign for ZAPP'S Potato Chips and performing as a principal with iLov305 Entertainment at Hard Rock Casino.
Cydney is currently a faculty member at Millennium Dance Complex Nashville and travels nationwide as faculty with P3 Talent Convention and Innovative Fusion Convention. Originally from Hattiesburg, Mississippi, she began dancing at age two and trained in ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, contemporary, musical theatre, and commercial dance. At 18, she earned a scholarship to EDGE Performing Arts Center in Los Angeles, where she trained with renowned choreographers and educators. Today, she continues to choreograph, perform, teach, mentor, adjudicate, and direct convention programming nationwide.
